Digital Transformation Manager

Overview:

The Digital Transformation Consulting Manager plays a pivotal role in driving strategic digital initiatives and guiding organizational change toward digitalization. This role involves collaborating with internal teams and external clients to develop and implement digital transformation strategies that enhance business processes, improve efficiency, and drive innovation.

Responsibilities:

  1. Client Alignment / Readiness: Lead the Client through the formulation of a Digital Transformation strategy & high-level plan to align technology, culture, and the organization's priorities & goals, leveraging industry best practices. Emphasize the importance of human and soft factors in a successful transformation.
  2. Client Engagement: Engage with clients to understand their business needs, challenges, and objectives related to digital transformation, leading them from the beginning of their transformation journey, where they may be trepidatious or feel out of their element to a state of readiness.
  3. Project Management: Oversee end-to-end project management of digital transformation initiatives, including planning, execution, and monitoring.
  4. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, marketing, operations, and finance to ensure seamless integration of digital solutions.
  5. Change Management: Drive organizational change management efforts to facilitate adoption of digital technologies and processes.
  6. Technology Evaluation: Evaluate emerging digital technologies and trends to identify opportunities for innovation and competitive advantage.
  7. Performance Monitoring: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the success and impact of digital transformation initiatives.
  8. Stakeholder Communication: Communicate progress, challenges, and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  9. Team Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to digital transformation teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  10. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with digital transformation projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, computer science, information technology, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience leading and leveraging Salesforce.com technologies & platform abilities.
  • Salesforce Certifications (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Platform App Builder)
  • Understanding (or ability to quickly learn & synthesize) the abilities & best practices embedded in Salesforce Industries products. Certifications/implementation experience are a plus.
  • Proven experience (7+ years) in digital transformation consulting or related roles.
  • Strong understanding of digital technologies, trends, and best practices.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities with experience leading cross-functional teams.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities with a results-driven mindset.
  • Certifications in project management (e.g., PMP), agile methodologies, and relevant digital technologies are a plus.
