Salesforce Industries Developer

Remote - remote, GA

The Salesforce Industries Developer will be responsible for all types of standard Salesforce Development and customization. This includes coding, unit testing, building applications, and creating and modifying existing applications. This position will work alongside Salesforce Administrators and other business analysts in the Information Systems team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with product owners to design and build solutions across Sales and Communication Cloud solutions.
  • Participate in complete development process from requirement analysis to deployment.
  • Gather, analyze and document functional and technical requirements for new projects, enhancements to existing solutions and production issues reported by end users
  • Build Salesforce applications using OmniStudio, Data Raptors, integration packages, flex cards, etc. while leveraging the full capabilities of the Salesforce platform to support the company's programs.
  • Create/modify existing controllers, controller extensions, and triggers across all platforms.
  • Create automated tests for developed solutions – unit, integration, and user acceptance test plans, including use cases and test data
  • Provide test, release, and in-life developer support.
  • Develop highly interactive UI using Visualforce, JavaScript and JQuery technologies.
  • Develop custom applications using Salesforce.com and integrating Salesforce.com with other systems
  • Follow Dev Ops processes for code and release management.
  • Apply best practices and design patterns of best-of-breed applications developed on the Salesforce.com platform
  • Review own and peers' outputs to identify and flag errors or potential issues.
  • Support post deployment activities including knowledge transfer, process documentation and application bug fixes
  • Document solutions to the required standard.
  • Ensure that solutions provided are delivered on time.
  • Influence the evolution of best practices and guardrails through own personal experience and learning.

Essential & Highly Desired Skills & Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years of development experience on Salesforce Core Cloud (Sales, Service, FSL, et) covering full software development lifecycle.
  • Minimum of 1 year with Development & Deployment of Salesforce Industries (Vlocity) platform, including DataRaptors, Integration Procedures, Calculation Matrices and Procedures, OmniScript, Vlocity Data Model, and Salesforce.com Lightning Web Components
  • Experience in working as part of an Agile team.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce.com development including modification of standard objects and fields and creation of custom objects and fields.
  • Specific industry vertical focus/experience is beneficial.
  • Experience in deploying Salesforce Industries (Vlocity) solutions
  • Familiarity working with CI/CD tools (Copado, Git, Jenkins, Ant etc.)
  • Broad knowledge of Service Cloud, Sales Cloud and/or Experience Cloud is helpful (including native config, Apex, LWC, VisualForce)
  • Data modeling and cloud architecture
  • Integration technologies and experience with web services (REST & SOAP, JSON & XML, etc.)
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience working across multiple locations and time zones.
